Tibetâs PM-in-exile Lobsang Sangay says encouraged by Donald Trumpâs stance on One China policy, remains hopeful of support to resolve Tibet issue peacefully.
Dharamshala â "As Sikyong, I open my doors to everybody. I donât think anyone should say that I didnât get to see the Sikyong because of ideological reasons," said Dr Lobsang Sangay, Dr Lobsang Sangay as Tibet's democratically elected political leader during an Exclusive Interview with the Tibet Post International (TPI).Â Dr Sangay, the current Sikyong of the Central Tibetan Administration, completed its five-year term in April 2016.
For long the Chinese authorities in Tibet have tried to push the notion that Tibetans are backward, barbaric and uncivilized. Hence, it needed the good liberating grace of China to release the country from the shackles of an atrocious history and civilize the inhabitants from the shadows of barbarism.
